About UPES DAT 2022
UPES DAT 2022 will be conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). This exam is conducted every year to offer admission to candidates in a design program offered by the college. UPES offers design courses both at an undergraduate and postgraduate level to candidates under its Social of Design Studies (SoDS).

UPES DAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should bear in mind that they will need to clear the eligibility criteria which is set by the UPES. If it is found at any stage that any candidate doesn't fit in the UPES DAT eligibility standards, then their candidature will be cancelled.
- B.Des Eligibility: Candidates must have at least 65% in Class X and Class XII to apply for the UPES B.Des program 2022.
- UCEED and JEE Main Score: Candidates with a valid JEE Main / UCEED score can apply for UPES DAT 2022 if they have an aggregate of 50% in Class X and Class XII.
- M.Des Eligibility: Candidates must have at least 50% in Class X and Class XII to apply for the UPES M.Des program 2022
- Age: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1996, are eligible for admission. Date of birth as given in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be considered valid.

How to apply for UPES DAT?

- Step 1: Firstly, you need to go to the official website of UPES DAT Exam i.e. www.upes.ac.in
- Step 2: Then you have to click on the registration tab for Foreign National or an Indian candidate/ choose the tab as per your domicile status.
- Step 3: A sign-up window will be displayed. You will have to sign-up to UPES official website to get the application form.
- Step 4: Further, you will have to fill the form with the details like your name, email Id and phone number. An email confirming your sign-up will be sent to you. You will need to activate your account by clicking the link in the email and then your registration will be done.

UPES DAT Cutoff 2022
UPES DAT will announce the cutoff of UPES DAT 2022 for admissions to B.Des courses for the session 2022-21 soon after the declaration of the result. Candidates need to secure the cut off marks or minimum percentage of marks required for admission to B.Des and M.Des courses offered by UPES. Those who secure the minimum cutoff are called for the counselling process.
UPES DAT 2022 Counselling
UPES will conduct the counselling of UPES DAT 2022 only for those candidates who have cleared the entrance test. Those who are eligible based on their JEE or UCEED ranks will have their names listed on the merit list released on the official website.
- The counselling for admission will be conducted separately for the JEE Main 2022 and UCEED qualified candidates.
