The entire admission process is conducted online, and the forms of interested candidates are invited on the college’s official website. All the courses have their own sets of eligibility criteria, which need to be fulfilled before applying for them. Admission in all the programmes except MCA at MCC Chennai happens through merit-based selection, followed by counselling by the college in some courses. For admission in MCA, candidates need to appear for the TANCET national level entrance exam and the admission is continued for students clearing the cut off of the same.

The link to access the results is present in the “News and updates” section on the homepage of the website, named as “MCC End Semester Exam 2020 Exam Results link”, for instance. The campus of MCC Chennai is located at Tambaram, Chennai and has an area of 320 acres. As it is essentially a jungle, it comes in handy for the professors and students of departments like Botany and Zoology for their practical work. Although there is no campus placement for the journalism course, the candidates can participate in the placement organized by other departments. Companies from the newspaper and publishing industry also see a graduate from MCC as an asset.

Currently I am not doing any internship. Certain companies are coming for recritments in college at regular intervals. The type of company will change according to the department a student belongs. We have a strong bunch of alumni who are helping us in everything.
Academics & FacultyFor aided students class is from 8.30-1.30. We have three internal continuous assessment exams other than semester exam per semester. Our faculties are well experienced and trains us well. I'm lucky to be a part of this college.
