ICSE semester-1 exam was supposed to be held from 15th November 2021 to 16th December 2021. But it got postponed to 22nd November 2021 due to the pandemic. After that, the exams were held offline, and CISCE announced the results on 7th February 2022 on the official website. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) is the authority that conducts ISC board examinations every year across India. CISCE is a national-level board in India that conducts class 10th (ICSE) and class 12th (ISC) exams. Over 2,100 schools in India are affiliated with CISCE. As per the proposal for "The new education policy, 1986", the medium of study preferred by the board is English. Before the year 1986, CISCE was associated with the French board of examination.

CISCE board was supposed to conduct the ISC semester-1 exam from 15th November to 16th December 2021. However, according to a notice released by CISCE on 19th October 2021, the exams were postponed until further notice. Later, CISCE released the revised schedule for the first semester exams, and the exams started on 22nd November and ended on 20th December 2021. Moreover, the exams are being held offline. Students studying in class 12th who are appearing for the boards have to fill out the ISC registration form 2022 at the earliest before the last date to appear in the final examination. It is advised to perform the registration process under the respective school authorities' guidance to avoid any mistakes in the same. CISCE will issue the ISC class 12th admit cards online for all eligible students to appear in the board examination. Keep in mind that the ISC admit card 2022 is evidence of one's eligibility to appear in the examination, and carrying it for all exams is mandatory. Without the ISC admit card, access to the examination hall will be denied. After receiving the admit card, students should verify all the details mentioned on the card lest the same error gets printed on the mark sheet.

CISCE board has released the class 12th semester-1 results on its official website on 7th February 2022 at 10 am. Candidates need to enter the credentials asked on the results page to check their results. Also, students can apply for rechecking of their answer scripts till 10th February 2022, 10 am. However, if the candidates are not satisfied with their marks, they can appear for the improvement exams for which the CISCE will release the notification later. CISCE gives a second chance to those who can not pass the regular board exams on their first attempt. The second chance is named the supplementary exam. For 2022, the ISC class 12th supplementary examination is expected to be conducted offline. Moreover, the ISC class 12th supplementary exam 2022 will be conducted offline on August 2022 (tentative). Students dissatisfied with the marks obtained in the regular exams can also appear in the supplementary exam.
